About Morgan van Vliet MA, RCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor (#11136)
Eating Disorder Therapist
Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor
I’ve been told I’m easy to talk to, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. My clients often share that they feel heard and supported in our work together, and building a trusting connection with you is my top priority.
I specialize in helping people who struggle with disordered eating. As an Eating Disorder Therapist and Intuitive Eating Counsellor, I draw upon evidence-based approaches to help you break free from the cycles that keep you feeling stuck.
I also bring the unique perspective of someone who has been through their own recovery journey. I understand the pain, frustration, and hopelessness that can come with an eating disorder—but I also know that healing is possible. I am deeply passionate about helping you find freedom and peace with food and your body. No matter where you are right now, I have hope for you.
Professional Designations
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor. Additionally, I am a registered counsellor with the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP), providing support to individuals who have been impacted by crime.
These credentials reflect my commitment to high professional standards and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My training allows me to offer specialized support for individuals struggling with disordered eating, emotional eating, and related challenges.
